Hi everyone, just a quick note since my last post. What a difference a day makes! I decided to reve up my prospecting partly because I'm holding myself accountable to you, my readers. I didn't want to be one of those "gurus' that gives advice, but didn't build a business myself. Well, the close of our first month in Javita and what an incredible first month we had. We have one of the most diverse leadership I have seen in any company. Men, women, all different races and backgrounds. It is incredible. I'm so proud to be leading this new company with my partners.
This is the weekend we celebrate freedom. I started to think, what does freedom mean to me? Sure my first thoughts were to the military…. in the basic sense of freedom. I then started to think my business gives me "freedom"….. I work towards financial freedom, freedom to work from home, freedom to spend time with my family, freedom to do the things I want to do, when I want to do them.
So made a promise to honor the freedom of my business by doing those activities every day this weekend, when others may be taking it off, to build my business, to keep my freedom. Yesterday I met a great prospect at a local Starbucks, and did a few calls. I felt really productive. Usually I'm very busy but when I laid my head down last night, it felt like I really did something to build my business, I kept to my promise. Today I did a ton of prospecting calls (people are LOOKING right now folks!), and did 2 strategy sessions, a lots of 3 way calls. I feel incredible.
I guess I am trying to share with you…. to remember why you are doing your business. For me it is all about FREEDOM. And to honor my "why" I'm spending the weekend doing a few things everyday to build my business. I still have a ton of time to play with my family and respect the other freedoms I have.
